Sometimes we need to record ourselves in class, but this can be frustrating process if we don't have a quiet area for recording. I therefore challenge you to create your own soundproof booths!
Your group needs to: 1. Create a design for a soundproof booth that can fit on your desks (what do you think the best shape will be?). 2. Decide what materials you will use (no one needs to buy anything - see what you have lying around your house that could be reused!). 3. Write down a step-by-step process so that you all know how to make your booth. 4. When you're done, respond to the reflection on this site.

You may need... - poster board - a cardboard box - an old cooler - an old styrofoam container - popsicle sticks - cotton balls - egg cartons (cardboard or styrofoam) - construction paper - paper towels - paper towel or toilet paper rolls - tissues - foam
You will definitely need... - a container large enough to fit a laptop and your head - something that blocks sound - white glue - sturdy tape to strengthen your box (packing or duct tape) - scissors - ruler - pencil - creativity and a willingness to collaborate with your team
